I just got some really good....and bad news.
Last Tuesday, one of my college professors called me. She has MS and was in the hospital the last few days and found that she was weaker than bedridden longer than she expected (not the exciting part). The exciting part is that she asked me to take care of her class tomorrow! I'm very honored because she is an amazing professor and for her to call me means a lot. This also may mean that I might be able to get in the pool for teaching adjunct if I can get her recommendation which would be absolutely incredible.
The classes went well. For those of you familiar with the projects, the students were working on their travel posters. It seems like a really long time ago that I was working on that. As I'm sure is always, the case, some were great, some were cliché. It was very fun though.
After talking to Anne after the class, she sounds like she wants me to help out on Tuesday too. A part of me is, of course, very excited. All of me hopes to receive a call on Monday that she magically woke up and is walking again but that doesn't sound likely.
In other news, Rhianna is finishing her swimming lessons on Saturday and I think we'll sign her up again since she seems to be getting used to it. Next Wednesday I'm going to start swimming lessons for me. I'm very excited. We'll see how it goes. Hey, at least it's something different.
P.S. Special congrats to Cole who might have finally caught a break as she was interviewed for a second grade teaching position.

brain development
Rhianna had her four month appointment today. All is well. She is right at the 50 percentile in weight at 13 lbs. 6 oz. and at the 25th percentile in height at 23.25". The big surprise came when her head measurement jumped from the 20th percentile to the 90th in the last two months. The formula we've been supplementing with does say "brain development" but hey, I kinda thought that was a marketing technique. Nonetheless, she's healthy and developing as expected. I'm sure you're all thrilled :)
That's all for now!
