Nesting

This weekend we... well, I decided that we needed to decorate our living room. Dave did a great job of putting up with my insane nesting/decorating instinct. We ended up painting the living room and hallway walls and rearranging the living room furniture. It all looks great! I'll try to take some pictures as soon as we get the kitchen cleaned up. We found places for a lot of things that had just been thrown in a cupboard when we moved in so things are getting all set. My original decorating frenzy plan had included painting the kitchen, but after painting all day on Saturday, we decided to get the living room totally done before we tackled the next room. That and we weren't totally convinced we had picked the right color for the kitchen... yet :) I really do like decorating.

The baby's room is all done except for putting ties on the bumper pad. It looks great! We moved one of the bookshelves from downstairs up there so now we have a lot of shelf space for toys and books and what not.

And about our ultrasound last Friday: No, we still don't know the gender of the baby. From what they could tell though, all the parts were there and everything looks good. They estimate the weight is about average and the timing looks right on track. We'll see I guess! My doc is out of town until Monday so I'll just have to keep my legs crossed until then -- and then I'd be happy for it to happen anytime.
